先日、コリーンという、みっちの友達で、今年の３月まで、日本にいた
友達からメールが届きました。
３月までは、MOMO☆JAMというバンドを通して、みっちとコリーンは
ビルマ（ミャンマー）の平和とビルマ人の人権を取り戻すための
活動をしていました。
コリーンは今、故郷のカナダで、ビルマ（ミャンマー）の人々の人権をとりもどすために活動をしています。今、皆さん御存知と思いますが、ビルマ（ミャンマー）が大変な状況です。少しでもビルマの軍事政府以外の人々を助けるために、位下の内容を見ていただけると幸せです。

Most of you have probably been hearing about the volatile situation currently going on in Burma. There are many reports of monks and other peaceful protestors having been rounded up by the thousands, many imprisoned and many beaten and killed. Because of the ban on international journalists, tight restrictions on media in the country – the Junta shut down the internet in the country on September 28 ‐ it has become even harder to find out exact numbers.
If you would like to show your support for the peaceful protestors in Burma there are various options, some of which involve a mere clicking of a few keys on your computer.
For Canadians:
Below is a link to a letter put out by Right on Canada. Go to this link and you can send the letter to Canadian politicians including your own MP. You can also send by snail mail or fax as it tends to get treated more seriously by the government.

You can sign this online petition which is going to be advertised in newspapers around the world within a couple of days, delivered to the UN Security Council, and broadcast to the Burmese people by radio.
